Welcome to Choose MOGO, the website and blog for Portland (Oregon)’s MOGO (Most Good) Group. You can find out all about the philosophy of MOGO and the basics of what Portland’s group is about in our About Us section.

Portland’s MOGO Group has been meeting since February 2008. We get together to share and support each other, learn about important issues and topics, perform community service, and more.

We — and this website — are in process, so check back often to find more information, resources and ideas for living a life that makes choices that do the most good and least harm for all people, animals and the planet.

Our MOGO group is for people who care about all global justice issues (human rights, animal protection, environmental preservation, media and culture) and who are interested in making positive changes in their own lives, as well as helping transform their community. Our primary focus is:
    • Providing a support system for those wanting to journey toward a more simple, sustainable, compassionate lifestyle.
    • Offering opportunities for social connection with others of similar mind.
    • Cultivating and implementing a variety of projects that serve our local and global communities.
